The officers themselves investigated complaints of profiteering and black marketing during the lockdown. The DM, wearing a T-shirt and a lower hand, reached the Galla Bazaar and Chetna Mandis of Chetganj at around 8 am on Monday. SSP Prabhakar Chaudhary also entered a bag with a t-shirt on his back in the streets.
Standing in a queue like a common man, the two officers waited for their turn. Asked for the rate of daily necessities, and asked the reason for selling more than the rate fixed by the administration. If the shopkeepers still did not reduce the price, the officers revealed their identity. After this the shopkeepers lost their senses.

While there was talk of raiding the officers as a common man against the rage of the officers, the shopkeepers doing black marketing, there was a situation of raid. The officers also appealed to the people to pay only that amount to the administration which has issued the rate list. If someone asks for more money then complain immediately.
Other officers should also raid DM said that other magistrates should also take strict action against them by marking shopkeepers in their respective areas. Officers should come out and take surprise raids and take action against such people. So that people can get relief. Lockdown rules to be followed.
